Pumpkin Roll Cake with Whipped Cinnamon Cream Cheese Filling {dairy + gluten free}

Making a Pumpkin Cake Roll has been in my to-do list every fall for as long as I can remember. Not only because I love pumpkin and other flavors the season brings, but because they're simply beautiful. They look elegant and elaborate but are actually not as difficult as they seem.

Pumpkin Spice Sugar Cookies {gluten free + vegan}

I love to make my roll-out sugar cookies for the holidays. Halloween and Christmas are the two holidays that stick out in my mind as ones that my mom would make her sugar cookies and we would get to help frost them. I loved the pumpkins and black cats the most.

Teal Pumpkin Project

I love that so many companies are making it easier for families to participate in the Teal Pumpkin Project this year. I was so excited about the movement the first year it began, and my love for this effort has just continued to grow. There are so many reasons to swap out the usual candy treats for some fun, non-food items instead. I know my kids love getting little prizes and appreciate them much more than a few pieces of candy, which we inevitably end up getting rid of not too long after collecting it.

Pumpkin Pie {gluten free + vegan}

#glutenfree #vegan #pumpkin #thanksgiving #pie

Pumpkin Pie is one of those classic necessities that just rounds out any Thanksgiving feast. As a teenager, my mom and I spent quite some time trying to create the perfect pumpkin pie, from crust to filling. We finally came up with our favorite one and it has been a staple each year since then. But what happens when you can no longer eat the pie you made because the crust contains gluten, or you cannot share it with your child because it contains milk and they are allergic? Why, you adapt it of course!
