Apple Pie Sangria

Every October, we host my husband's family for a pumpkin carving party in the week or so leading up to Halloween. It's one of my favorite times of year and we started it the year we got married so it's been a fun tradition through the years.

Dirty Chai Protein Shake (dairy + gluten free)

At the start of 2017, I set a goal to be healthier. This included exercising more, drinking more water each day, and eating healthier. Of course, I set a weight loss goal too because I really hadn't made my diet a priority in awhile. If I'm being totally honest, since my pregnancy with my littlest bug.

Sparkling Pear Sangria

This pretty, festive drink is one we enjoyed as part of our Thanksgiving meal, and I fully intend to make it again for Christmas (and possibly even New Year's Eve). It is bright, crisp and delicious. Not to mention a beautiful addition to a holiday meal!

Coffee Creamer Combos: Caramel Coffee Cake | Latte, Frappe, or Iced Coffee Drinks

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #CoffeeCreamerCombos #CollectiveBias

If you know me at all, you know I'm an equal opportunity coffee lover. Hot, iced, blended...just as long as it's caffeinated, that is about my only requirement. I do however, have certain times of the year that I prefer my coffee one way or the other, depending on the weather and my mood. For this reason, I love it when I can create a variety of coffee drinks to suit my mood using the same ingredients any way I make it.

Valentine's Brunch and Berry Fizz Mocktails

It is funny how different Valentine's Day is now that I'm a mother. I have always found it difficult to know what gift to give my husband. Some say Valentine's Day is a holiday for the ladies, but I disagree. I've also struggled a bit with feeling like there should be a day set aside to recognize loved ones, as if every other day it isn't important, as well as the over-commercialization of the day in general. I mean, who really wants to think about Valentine's Day before Christmas is even past?

Instant Hot Cocoa Mix {dairy free}

#dairyfree #hotcocoa

As soon as the weather begins to turn cool, my boys start asking for hot cocoa every time they come in from playing outside. I usually cook up a saucepan of cocoa with almond milk on the stove on snow days or weekend days when I have some extra time. Halloween evening was one chilly night here, so we enjoyed our first hot cocoa of the season.

Apple Cider Punch

#apple #cider #punch #fall #drinks

I love apple cider. Hot or cold, it is the perfect, spicy, fall drink. My little one loves apple cider too, but his big brother, not so much. I decided I would make a bubbly punch using apple cider that all of the kids would enjoy, whether they share our love of cider or not. All of the kiddos at our Pumpkin Carving Party loved this punch!
