Veggie-Go's Fruit + Veggie Snacks

I received this product for free from Moms Meet  to use and post my honest opinions. Compensation for this post was provided and this page may contain affiliate links

Like most kids (I assume), my kiddos love fruit snacks. But I don't always feel good about giving them the sugar-filled treats very often. I worry that the more artificially sweetened, flavored, "junk" food they eat, the less I will be able to convince them to opt for food choices that are healthier for them.

That's why I was excited to try Veggie-Go's Fruit + Veggie Snacks with my kiddos. Not only are the flavor combos interesting (and delicious), they're made with real food ingredients and have no added sugar. Looking at the labels, most of the flavors contain very few ingredients, and I know what all of them are. We were able to try Fruit + Veggie Strips and Bites.

The bites do have a "may contain" warning label that they are produced in a facility that also processes milk, wheat, soy, and coconut, so we opted to avoid those for my milk-allergic kiddo.

Our favorite strips were the Berry Apple + Spinach for best texture, and Carrot Apple + Ginger for best flavor. The zing of the ginger was my favorite! The Sweet Potato Apple + Spice flavor smells like fall when you open it. It wasn't my favorite flavor, but the kids liked it. The Tropical Fruit + Kale flavor was our least favorite, but only because it was a bit tougher texture than the others and harder to chew. The flavor of the tropical fruit was really very good.

When it came to trying the bites, the Strawberry Chia Seeds + Beet and Orange Cocoa Nibs + Carrots were tied in terms of flavor and texture. They were both delicious! The Berry Rice Crisps + Greens came in last for us, mainly because the texture (slight crunch) of the rice crisps in the chewiness of the bites was a little bit unusual.

I love that my kids enjoyed both the bites and the strips and didn't even realize they were eating a whole serving of fruits + veggies at the same time.

If you want to purchase Veggie Go's Fruit + Veggies Snacks for yourself, they're available on Amazon, at most Whole Foods and Sprouts stores. To find them at a store near you, use their store finder
