There isn't much I love more than relaxing on a cool fall morning with a steaming cup of coffee and a slice of freshly baked bread for breakfast. Whether it's pumpkin bread, banana bread, or this amazing cinnamon apple bread, I don't discriminate. I just love the slightly sweet, but mostly spicy and comforting fall flavors.
As if it wasn’t already abundantly obvious from the slew of posts that happen during the month of October over here, Halloween, and Fall in general, are my favorite parts of the year. There are so many fun, creative, unique snack ideas that can be made allergy-friendly with ease. I'm sharing this compilation of some of my absolute favorite Halloween-themed recipes that are dairy free and gluten free, and are perfect for parties or just a fun treat for you own kiddos. Enjoy!
Making a Pumpkin Cake Roll has been in my to-do list every fall for as long as I can remember. Not only because I love pumpkin and other flavors the season brings, but because they're simply beautiful. They look elegant and elaborate but are actually not as difficult as they seem.
I love that so many companies are making it easier for families to participate in the Teal Pumpkin Project this year. I was so excited about the movement the first year it began, and my love for this effort has just continued to grow. There are so many reasons to swap out the usual candy treats for some fun, non-food items instead. I know my kids love getting little prizes and appreciate them much more than a few pieces of candy, which we inevitably end up getting rid of not too long after collecting it.

If you know me at all, you know I'm an equal opportunity coffee lover. Hot, iced, blended...just as long as it's caffeinated, that is about my only requirement. I do however, have certain times of the year that I prefer my coffee one way or the other, depending on the weather and my mood. For this reason, I love it when I can create a variety of coffee drinks to suit my mood using the same ingredients any way I make it.
This recipe is another fun Halloween or fall treat that I came up with while I was waiting for my Halloween Chocolate Bark to chill. I had some leftover chocolate and white chocolate/peanut butter, and I had picked up this really cute silicone pumpkin ice cube tray from Dollar Tree. It was pefect!
This recipe was my favorite Halloween treat creation last year. I was on maternity leave, at home with my littlest, and had so much fun creating treats for the older boys to enjoy after school. I decided to mix it up a bit this year by doing a swirl instead of solid chocolate. But it is so delicious either way!
