Powdered Egg Replacer {gluten free + vegan}



Powdered Egg Replacer {gluten free + vegan}


  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup tapioca starch
  • 1 Tbsp gluten-free all purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp baking soda


Whisk all ingredients together and store in an airtight container.

2 rounded tsp mix + 2 Tbsp water = 1 whole egg equivalent
2 rounded tsp mix + 1 Tbsp water = 1 egg yolk equivalent
1 rounded tsp mix + 1 Tbsp water = 1 egg white equivalent

*I have only used this egg replacer in baked goods, so I cannot attest to whether it will or will not work as a replacer for eggs in other items.
