At the request of one of a very persuasive niece, we hosted a family pumpkin carving party this past weekend. It is something we have done before with the intention of making it an annual event. Unfortunately I always forget until after Halloween is over.
Two of our nieces grow pumpkins in their garden each year, giving us a ton of them to choose from. I made a big batch of homemade chili and some festive snacks (everything was dairy-free and gluten-free). Here are a few quick pictures I snapped:
I love finding cute printables like this one! Find it here.
Dairy-free, gluten-free cereal treats made with pumpkin spice marshmallows and topped with safe candy corn.
Little man and I made this giant electrical tape and felt spider and web for our back door.
Egg carton bats. (Real bats scare the crap out of me...thankfully these look nothing like them.)
Painting this little guy took some work...then it rained the next day. :(
Dairy-free, gluten-free caramel apples topped with chopped pecans and Enjoy Life mini chocolate chips.
My husband cheats by using power tools.
